I used this when my cat cut his paw last summer. The cut wasn't deep enough for stitches, but he needed to stay off of it so it could heal faster. I wrapped his paw with this to keep a small bandage on and to discourage him from walking around too much. It's tricky to wrap it without being too tight or too loose and sometimes my cat was able to push it off but it worked well and did the job.
